Aki 亜紀
I have interested in Japanese culture since I was a child, I have learned calligraphy, tea ceremony, and flower arrangement.
My aunt, who is a Koto master, a certified dressmaker, and a kimono enthusiast, helped me dress into a beautiful, comfortable, and painless outfit, which made dining and shopping with friends in kimono so much more enjoyable. I had a marvellously uplifting experience. That is why I was fascinated by the world of kimono.
I have worked as a manager for 16 years at an entertainment agency where many actresses, actors, and models belong.
In 2015, I was determined to share the greatness of wearing kimono comfortably with people all over the world, and began studying under my aunt. Besides, I began my career as a salesperson at a kimono store in Ginza.
Since 2016, I have worked as a kimono dresser assistant at Hatsuko Endo in Palace Hotel Tokyo for 3 years.
I had taken lessons over and over in order to deepen my skills and knowledge at various kimono dressing classes such as Akemi Morita's Kimono School "Japanese Sobi Academy" and "ANTWARP BRIDAL".
Currently, I am working with my style's "comfortable and simple dressing".
